The origin of 'Patriotism' and why it matters, OR 'not matter!

The origin of the word patriot is rarely, if ever, mentioned. Its origin is Latin. In Latin the word is pater, meaning father. Eons ago the role of women was to have children, prepare meals, teach the children basic skills. The primary role of men was to protect his wife and children from animals, etc., and to hunt (because he was stronger). When families began to live together, for mutual benefit, the leaders were men – simply because they were usually bigger and stronger. Hence, the word patriarch. Therefore, obey the patriarchs, the father figures.

To-day, the word means being faithful to the leaders of the place where one was born. AND, now means men can decide what women's place is in society, even telling them what they can and cannot do with their own bodies. Like they are some kind of god.
This is the 'SICK' part of this 'blind' patriotism.

So the men rule your world, your life! Change it, the change may require violent and deadly reaction. Why should you be faithful to a place just because you were born there? No one has a choice of their birthplace. Your rulers will contest that because they want to control you! Do you get it now
?

So, what's wrong for choosing the place you want to live ?  NOTHING!
